Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Colouristic Hair Salon & Makeup website, its online booking, and its automated assistants. By using the site or booking an appointment, you agree to them.
Appointments
- Online booking reserves a time to bring in your hair / current color or start your visit. It does not guarantee when work will be finished; that depends on what we find, parts availability and the scope of work.
- We may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment (for example, staff illness or emergencies). We'll contact you using the details you gave us.
- If you can't make your appointment, please call the salon at least 24 hours ahead so we can offer the time to another client.
- Please give accurate contact information. Bookings with false or abusive information may be cancelled.
Text messages (SMS)
- What you get: if we offer texts and you agree (by ticking "Text me" when you book or join our waitlist, or by saying yes when our website chat asks), Colouristic Hair Salon & Makeup sends you a confirmation when you book, reminders before your appointment and, if you're on our waitlist, a text when a time opens. We don't send marketing texts.
- How often: message frequency varies: usually a confirmation and one to three reminders per appointment; if an appointment is moved, its reminders are sent again for the new time.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Stop or get help: reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us; our texting provider sends one message confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or contact us by phone at (310) 779-1839, in person or by mail at 806 W Beverly Blvd, Suite 60, Montebello, CA 90640.
- Optional: agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking or of buying anything. You can book and get your confirmation by email instead.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts are sent only to mobile numbers with a +1 (US and Canada) country code.
- How we handle your number is explained in our Privacy Policy: we do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data for marketing.
Prices, estimates and offers
Prices and estimates are only provided by our staff, and only after we understand the work needed. Nothing on this website, in the website chat, is a price quote, discount, coupon, warranty, guarantee or other offer, and none of these can be created or promised by an automated assistant. If an automated assistant ever appears to promise one, it is an error and is not binding. Please confirm any pricing with our staff.
Automated assistants
Our website chat may be answered by an automated AI assistant, not a person. It can help you find open times and book appointments, and answer general questions about our business. It can make mistakes, and it does not give professional advice. For anything important, please speak with our staff. Use of the assistants is subject to our Community Guidelines.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the website or its assistants: no abusive, threatening or unlawful content, no attempts to trick the assistants into breaking their rules, no automated booking or scraping, and no attempts to interfere with the site's security. We may close chats, cancel bookings or block access when these terms are broken.
Website content
We work to keep information on this site accurate, but hours, services and availability can change. The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Colouristic Hair Salon & Makeup is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Privacy
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of California.
